Creating a personalized plan to optimize gut health, including dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, stress-reduction techniques, and supplement recommendations. It’s all about getting enough nutrients for me and ensuring I absorbed all the nutrients I was purposely consuming my gut needed to be healed.
Once I found out that nutrients support hormone regulation I had to know more.
Your hormones send messages throughout your entire body.
Hormones regulate your weight, mood, stress, control your appetite, energy levels, blood sugar, emotions, fertility, as well as other body functions.
The smallest imbalance can negatively impact your body.
Vitamin D - Vitamin D controls the production and activity of estrogen and progesterone to keep these hormones balanced. This vitamin also helps regulate insulin and blood sugar levels.
Selenium, Iron, and Iodine - contribute to healthy levels and functioning of thyroid hormones.
Omega 3 Fatty Acids- may impact cortisol production and secretion and diminish insulin resistance.
Magnesium - Magnesium plays a key role in brain function, mood regulation, and stress response, affecting cortisol; which may affect the progression and onset of depression and anxiety.
