BATS participated in an exciting event for children and adults, alike, on September 27. The Touch-A-Truck program which is sponsored by the Beaufort-Hyde Partnership for Children, provides the opportunity for individuals to see various kinds of vehicles that provide services from tree cutting to fire and rescue. It was a beautiful day for staff Linwood Cobb (pictured right), Lenzy White (pictured left), Michael Holliday, and Rhonda Cotten to give lift rides to the children and share information about the service that BATS provides to the citizens of Beaufort County.

BATS Director, Rhonda Cotten, states, “I have always said that I would put the BATS team up against anyone in the state of North Carolina for its commitment to the community and each other. Right now, the 2:00 am driver is out on extended medical leave. Who wants to get up every morning at 12:00 AM and go to work??? Not many, but this staff is different. Warren took the first month all by himself. Then three others stepped up to take a week each to lighten the load on Warren. THANK YOU WARREN, LENZY, LINWOOD, AND JERRY for being a part of our BATS family!!!!”
