One hormone that doesn’t get talked about enough is leptin — your body’s satiety signal. When leptin signaling isn’t working efficiently, hunger can stay high, weight loss can stall, and it can feel frustratingly confusing.

This was something I personally never learned in traditional health conversations — and many routine lab panels don’t include it.

Sometimes it’s not about trying harder… it’s about understanding what your body is actually communicating.

Healthy habits are not supposed to feel like punishment.

For a long time, I thought I was just trying to “do better.”
Eat cleaner. Be more disciplined. Have more control.

But every time I couldn’t keep up with the rules I made for myself, I felt like I was failing.

Looking back, I wasn’t failing.
I was adding more pressure. More control. More rigidity.

And calling it “health.”

Healing started when I stopped trying to control my body
and started learning how to support it.
