Shannon Saunders, LMT I have been helping athletes improve their progression with health and flexibility for 17 years.

As a former division one athlete myself, I understand the importance of being “game ready.” As a skilled massage therapist I assist my clients with recovering from injury by using various massage and stretching techniques to aid in pain management. I hold a degree in sociology from the University of Connecticut and played 4 years of women’s basketball there. My clients have included all levels of athletes, from recreation league to AAU and college level basketball players to marathoners and pro tennis players. I have studied Thai massage, orthopedic massage, myofascial release and Active Isolated Stretching. My knowledge and experience in sports massage, deep tissue work and specific stretching combines with my instincts to find and eliminate restrictions which will help get my clients back to what they love. I use all of these modalities to form a massage session particular to each client.
