Today's Farmer's Market Haul.

Stocked up on groceries today. I don't usually do kale, but I've got a frittata recipe that I'm going to try this week with eggs from .

Found some maple syrup at .pure.maple and tasted some maple walnuts that were dangerously good.

And no farmers market is complete without a sweet treat, today in the form of macaroons, from

Pharmaceutical withdrawal is relatively unknown, and seldom discussed. 's May Cause Side Effects strips away the sanitized narrative of mental health recovery and dives into the visceral, messy reality of finding yourself on the other side of medication.

Here are some quotes that I found resonate with me. They are powerful reminders that recovery is a process, not always a pretty picture.

Drop a comment if any of these resonate, share if you know someone who needs to see this, and pick up this book if you struggle to feel.

You feel “on.” You’re doing ALL THE THINGS.

You’re fired up and going ludicrous speed.
But you crash the second you stop.

Plot twist! That’s not energy. That’s stress.

Real energy feels grounded. Clear. Steady beneath the motion.

Let’s stop confusing stress for energy.

Rebuild your rhythm.

Ever feel like you’re doing everything “right”…
eating healthy, drinking water, moving your body—
but you still feel like a trash?

It might not be the food.
It might be the way you're digesting your life.

In Ayurveda, digestion isn’t just physical—it’s emotional, mental, energetic.

Simplify. Slow down.
Let your gut—and your nervous system—catch up.

Got questions? Drop them in the comments or DM me.

Let’s get you out of the trash can.

I made 's Chicken Curry with Root Vegetables.

Warming, and grounding. Nourishing dish for a cold spring day.

I used fresh tomatoes instead of canned, so I don't have the yummy fire roasted tomato taste, there is always next time.

You can get the recipe from her bio!

Finished a rewatch of and thought I would point to this wisdom that the show offers.

Our protagonist, Korra, after several seasons of traumatic events, withdrawals and runs from her obligation. (dharma). Throughout her recovery process she blames external forces for her suffering until she comes to realize that the only thing holding Korra back is herself.

This isn't something she realizes all at once. In her depression she lashes out at Katara, who points out that Korra is not the only Avatar to have suffered. Korra finds the courage to, literally, start moving knowing that she is not alone.

Korra, finds the stubborn council of Toph who shows her that she must stand and face her own fears.

Lastly she seeks to tell her old enemy she no longer fears him and discovers that the only thing holding her back was the fear of what might be.

Through her self exploration she was able to recognize herself in others. Her suffering paved the way for greater understanding.

I've been making yummy food!

Today and I had Lemon rice with beetroot palya and cucumber raita for lunch.

This is a nice cooling dish for warmer weather from .ayurveda Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook

I've been doing a lot with ayurveda since last year and I continue to be amazed at how filling it is to eat what is satisfying to your body as opposed to eating to satisfy your mind.

And the cilantro came from the backyard garden!

Been making some upgrades to my

I felt stagnant with the way my studio was. I wanted to make a change that represented the shifts I've been making in my life. Like most decision I make I sat on it for months until I was spurred into taking action when .kolbo and gifted me a beautiful table to work with clients on... I'd be lying if I didn't use it for myself as well.

The process of updating commenced.

This orange seemed like a good contrast to the white fabric that has previously been hanging. White is a color of reflection. It creates space and can symbolize new beginnings. These last two years have been a reflection of where I've been, and a fresh start as I continue to expand my yoga therapy business.

Orange is energetic and more often than not a happy color. It is the color of the sacral chakra which is commonly associated with self expression. I'm a pretty happy person when I'm not in a funk and I'm learning to use my energy to bring sustained pleasure as opposed to quick gratification.

I finally finished my desk! I built it about a year and a half ago. In October one of the legs fell off but the desk still stood. I've been using it very delicately since then. I replaced the leg and finally made the drawers. Now everything has a home and isn't piled onto one shelf. Also not concerned about the whole thing falling apart anymore.

I'm really excited about the banners I'm making. My walls are long and short so I had to break up the monotony of 20ft of orange somehow. I used the old white fabric to make these banners with symbols that are important to me. The one I have finished is the emblem of the ( an off shoot of the Jedi prefer that finds balance between the light and the dark side)

I'm not done, there is almost more tinkering to do. I'm proud of this space. I've fought to protect it and make it the warm that it is.

Can't wait to share more with you all this year.
