Boost your energy and find inner calm this winter with Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi. Improve balance, reduce stress, and stay active through the colder months. Classes begin January 2, Tuesday and Thursday 11-12 am.

Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi is a combination of Tai Chi and Qigong that helps to build posture and balance, muscle tone, and a healthy range of movement without putting stress on the joints. Regularly practicing the 18 forms supports health and vitality, calms the mind, improves breathing, and lowers stress. The calming and meditative movements that flow from one into the other are also an excellent way to connect with nature as the forms invite us to do things like separate clouds, push waves, dance with rainbows, or touch the sea and look at the sky. Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-11 a.m., September 5 - October 26 at the Boys and Girls Club in Gardiner through MaineGeneral's Peter Alfond Prevention and Healthy Living Center.
