Flexibility & mobility were never things I thought or cared about, until I started working out. 🏋️‍♀️

Lifting weights is an excellent way to strengthen muscles & bones, but you have to lengthen muscles after workouts. So if you’re the one skipping your post-workout stretch, I’m talking to you! 🫵🏻 If you’re always sore, tight, and walk like someone twice your age, I’m talking to you! 🫵🏻 Don’t wait for an injury, just do it!

I’m far from flexible and my balance is a work in progress. So I include at least one stretch/mobility workout per week so I can stay on track.

Remember - It’s never too late to start & your body will thank you ☺️

If you know me, you know I preach the benefits of stretching. Today I took my own advice.

Sitting for hours in planes and cars, and not taking the time to stretch took its toll! Walking up and down 50,000 stairs didn’t help either. My calves have been screaming for days 😩

Take the time to stretch! You will feel more relaxed, you will be more flexible, have better mobility and be less prone to injury. You’ll sleep better too.
