The Adventures of Adina & Apollo Adina & Apollo are on a lifelong journey to provide emotional support to those in need. Adina is a Pygmy/Nigerian Dwarf cross and Apollo is a Nigerian Dwarf.

Goats are easily trained, highly social, non-violent, and entertaining. They have been known to improve mind, body, and spirit as well as providing unconditional support and acceptance. Goats are playful and have been known to lower anxiety, blood pressure, and help with depression. The sound of their clicking hooves is as great for you as its for them and watching them chew their cud is akin to meditation. Adina & Apollo are bottle babies; they are "kids" raised by kids. Because they are being raised by kids, they respond well to loud noises and are very friendly, patient, and silly. Adina is a doe and has been disbudded. Apollo is a buck and is disbudded; he will also be a wether when he becomes age-appropriate. Training began with Adina on day one as her Mother rejected her and her human family became her caregivers. Training began with Apollo just 10 days later when he was only 5 days old. Training for Adina & Apollo means lots of family time with their humans; this includes snuggling, climbing, and community outings. Adina & Apollo are emotional support animals and are therefore allowed in public facilities as a courtesy. Adina & Apollo are not required to be certified. They are hoping to spread their joy in hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, schools, rehab facilities (no judgement re: addiction), hospice, libraries, and school agricultural days.

Adina and Apollo had their first emotional support session yesterday. We are happy to report that all went well. Due to the family’s privacy we will not be sharing photos at this time. Just know that it was successful and they’re looking forward to additional sessions!🐐❤️
