BARRE fitness is a fitness practice that combines elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga, strength training, and/or resistance training in any given class. It involves using a ballet barre for support while performing a variety of small, controlled movements that target different muscle groups, particularly the core, legs, arms, and glutes! Barre workouts are generally low impact, making them a good option for people looking for a challenging workout without putting stress on the joints.
β‘οΈ With these principles in mind, this Barre Teacher Training Program will focus on teaching you how to safely and confidently instruct a foundation of functional movement patterns with various props. You will learn how to sequence movements; full range of motion; and resistance training to help your participants build strength and create a leaner physical appearance as well as improve flexibility, body alignment, and cardiovascular fitness. By the end of this 2-weekend training, you will be ready to teach a choreographed master class and have the foundational knowledge and skills to begin designing your own Barre classes with confidence!
Your registration fee includes all training materials, a one-month free unlimited studio membership, and hands-on training and practice in a friendly and supportive learning environment. No previous instructor experience or training is required. Fit & Fierce 515 will provide the fitness equipment needed for the duration of the training. You will want to bring your own yoga mat.

Your Master Trainer leading this Barre Teacher Training Program is Stacey Weber-Feve. A dedicated teacher and instructor trainer, Stacey has been teaching a variety of fitness and wellness modalities since 2018 and leading instructor training programs since 2021. With over 15 instructor certifications in yoga, barre, sculpt, Pilates, and pump to her name, Stacey brings a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to every teacher training program she designs and facilitates. You will learn not just the "how" behind every movement but also the "why," as based on exercise science research. Stacey's teaching style is high-energy, active, and inclusive. You will feel welcomed and engaged in an open and friendly learning environment and encouraged and supported in what may be either your first-time exploration or continuing education in your group fitness teaching journey.
