It’s not always obvious that home birth feels safe. And that’s okay.

Uncertainty is normal. Doubt is normal. Feeling nervous doesn’t mean you aren’t strong, it means you care. 🥰

Here’s what I’ve seen shift that feeling of fear into trust:

There’s something so special about that 36-week home visit. ✨

I leave your house already imagining where you’ll move through contractions, where you’ll lean on your partner, and where you’ll cradle your baby for the very first time.

That’s when it becomes real — your home transforms into your birth space. From that moment on, I’m waiting with you. On call. Ready. Holding space until the day arrives.

I get asked all the time: “So are you more medical… or are you super crunchy?”

Here’s the thing: I’m not here to play into either extreme.

Yes, I’m a medically trained nurse midwife. I know how to handle complications, read lab work, prescribe when needed, and make quick decisions in emergencies. Safety is non-negotiable.

But I also deeply believe in the wisdom of the body. I use herbs, positions, nutrition, and all the “natural tricks” that can make birth flow more smoothly. I trust birth. I trust women.

So no, I’m not a “med-wife.”
But I'm also not the "crunchiest" midwife you've ever met...

👉 I’m YOUR midwife.
And that means you get the best of both worlds: safety and support, medicine and trust.

Because you deserve care that isn’t extreme — it’s balanced, honest, and made for YOU. 💛
