Polling to see if there would be enough interest.

I am considering teaching a hybrid Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course here in Winneshiek County. The course is 10 weeks in length and will consist of online (virtual) classroom teaching with in-person hands on training (in-person location is yet to be determined). The course is usually run 2-3 nights per week for approximately 3 hours each night. The course would begin around July 1, 2025.

Cost of this course is $800 + cost of the book per person through NICC.
- Tuition $690
- Textbook $ (based on publisher pricing)
- Iowa Certification $30
- State Fingerprinting $50
- State Registration $30

Q: “When dealing with a threat such as a VBIED, or any other explosion, mass shooting kind of event, what are the proper precautions to take when analyzing for potential secondary attacks? Such as, more shooters and secondary explosions, how does someone know whether to stay and fight, help the wounded, or retreat to another known safe location until the chance of a secondary threat is greatly mitigated?”
