While I won’t be in person this year, I’ll be there in spirit!
Cheers to 10 years of our Hayward ALS Walk and raising over $500K+ for ALS patient care and research over the last decade. Thank you to each and everyone of you for being a key part of our journey!!

First Lutheran Church
10680 Main St. Hayward WI 54843
The countdown is on... we are three days away!
The community of Hayward, WI is rallying around John Jaeckel, Don Sheehan, and other community members affected by ALS to raise awareness of the disease and fundraise for The ALS Association. They are hosting a free walk this Saturday and all are welcome.
Since its beginning in 2015, the Jaeckel & Sheehan Walk vs ALS has raised over $500,000 to help make ALS a livable disease for everyone, everywhere until we can cure it. In the last ten years, two new ALS treatments have been approved by the FDA, Wisconsin's number of certified ALS treatment centers of excellence has increased to five, and at least 12 new ALS genes have been identified.
Can't make it in person? Please consider donating and/or checking out the online auction! Open to in-person and remote bidders, the auction features experiences like Packers and Badgers tickets, wine tastings, pontoon rides, Northwoods getaways, and items like jewelry, handmade cribbage sets, and more.
The auction closes at 10:30am CST on Saturday. Item pick-up will begin at 11:00am at the event. Most items are available to both in-person attendees and remote bidders, but there are some restrictions for larger items (chairs, etc.). If you are a remote bidder and are interested in the larger items, please make advance plans for pick-up.
