I promised an update for the meeting I had with volunteering 🤗 I will be posting my update tonight with the goals in mind to more forward from here !

I also have another meeting this week with a wonderful lady to help me dive deeper into my faith, I couldn’t be more excited to be working so hard with such wonderful ladies to guide me through this process 🥹 💕

I just want to remind everyone, grief looks different for every single one of us. some are able to ride the rollercoaster quicker than others and that’s totally okay 🫶🏽

there is ZERO timeframe on grieving over anything. it’s okay to have difficult days, it’s okay to seek help, it’s okay to feel every single emotion you’re feeling, accept those emotions, work through them and give yourself some grace. know it’s a temporary feeling and at some point you will be able to manage a new life without the one you’ve lost. it isn’t easy, but it’s manageable.

I was just thinking about when Passing In Peace came about 🙃

roughly a little over a year ago I had watched a documentary about life after death, just out of curiosity, and Alua Arthur had spoke about being a Death Doula. Immediately I thought 💡 🧐 what is that?! I need to know more!!

as I did more research about it I knew this is exactly where I need to be life and knew that it was a calling. being a death doula is not a career choice for everyone, it isn’t always about making it a business either, but I have been committed to work on building this as a business to be able to provide for my family some day, and so proud of myself for truly stepping out of my comfort zone and so excited to build it further 😊

I had a few different business names and Passing In Peace seemed to stick and here we are, a year later, still educating myself, still learning, still navigating the death world and so excited to watch it start coming together.

I can’t thank everyone enough for the continued curiosity, love & support 💚☮️

this came up today while I was at work. there was question if anybody is able to be a ‘Do Not Resuscitate’ (DNR) patient, and while I would like to say yes, it’s your choice.. that’s not entirely true

in Wisconsin, and many other states, there are requirements that need to be met before a doctor is able to sign a DNR order. If you have questions or concerns, I would be more than happy to assist in every way possible 😊
