Why should you even take my advice or mentoring sessions?
I get it.
I was never a person that would actively look for someone to help me in my own life. Like… I got this. I can figure it out on my own. No matter what the issue was. And I’m not saying you can’t also do that.
What I am saying is that I can get you to that solution or goal a lot faster because I have a roadmap you can follow.
You might be thinking - I’ve done something like this before, and it didn’t do anything for me. But can I let you in on a little secret? You get what you pay for and, even more so, the effort you put into it.

Have you noticed that your body feels different after 40—even if you’re eating the same or

In this episode of Thrive Over 40, we explore one of the most overlooked aspects of midlife
wellness: muscle loss after 40 and why it impacts far more than appearance or weight.
As women move through perimenopause and menopause, hormonal shifts can contribute to
changes in metabolism, energy, strength, and body composition. Many women focus on losing
weight, but the real conversation needs to include building and maintaining muscle.

Muscle is about much more than appearance.
Maintaining muscle helps support:

Everything we experience is intertwined. Whether that’s mental, emotional, physical or spiritual.
That pain in your shoulder? May be from being so tense and stressed at work with your workload….or from your boss who reminds you of a narcissistic ex-boyfriend from your mid 20s.
That daily headache? May be from your eyes straining looking at your computer screen all day…or because your nervous system is so overloaded from all of the daily tasks you have to keep track of at home and at work, that you just can’t relax or stay on top of things.

Sometimes it’s superficial. Sometimes it’s a deep rooted issue you don’t realize. Once you break that cycle, things can start to change for you.

It’s all connected.

Your emotional well-being is just as important as your physical body. The decisions you make to heal your heart and your emotional body are just as important as the food you eat and the water you drink. There is usually an unhealed emotional wound connected to every big diagnosis and until the patient is ready to integrate their life and accept the trauma, disease continues to proliferate in their body.

This is the part that most people get wrong when it comes to their health and this truth is one reason why the allopathic model keeps people stuck in their system without relief.
By simply looking at test results and the physical state of your body, they miss anything that is emotional or energetic.

Healing your trauma is a lot more work than simply taking a pill and it’s understandable why so many people avoid this part of their journey.

No one wants to relive their pain.

No one wants to retrace any steps that were traumatic.

But if you want to heal, you have to take this into consideration.

It is up to all of us to take control over our health and part of that process is taking ownership over our lives.
