As many of you know Madison has fallen in love with swimming thanks to our neighborhood summer swim team, The Millbridge Marlins. She is now swimming year round with SwimMAC, the number 1 swim club in the country. Her goal is to make it to the Olympics one day and she currently aspires to be like and Tomorrow she will be swimming in her first ever Swim-A-Thon to raise funds for her SwimMAC team! These 3 got up at 5am to drive to Spartanburg from Waxhaw to see and the practice only for it to be cancelled due to this crazy weather just as they got there 💔. They have been waiting for this for weeks and we’re so excited. Bummed is an understatement but at least we all get to see them play here in Charlotte this weekend!

If you go anywhere in the next few days or spend money on anything buy movie tickets and go see Sound Of Freedom.

Do no wait. This is a movie that EVERYONE needs to see. Take your parents and your young adult children.

This is not a documentary and it is not a political film. It is hard to watch. You will feel sick over it. So much so you may want to get up and leave and cry, I did. But stay. Stay until the end and stay until the credits finish rolling.

Go see it! Then ask yourself why it took 5 years to be released after it was made and why main stream media outlets are trying to discourage you from seeing it.

It’s the weekend but I still got that rise and grind! Come out to the festival and say I. I’m feeling truly blessed that I get to do what I love, advocate for and empower my community to stay happy and healthy at home. Nursing truly is a work of heart and I get to work with the best!
