Coming to you from the literal position you will see me in when in my office 🤪 If you were wondering what to expect when coming to my office, we will:

Go over important info like confidentiality and the paperwork you filled out. It is important to start on the same page. Part of this is confirming safety.

Spend time getting to know you. What brought you here? What is your previous experience in therapy (if any)? Do you have any assumptions about therapy? Tell me about what you like and don’t like etc.

The sessions are not about me, but you will get an authentic version of me. I am a professional, and also true to myself and let my personality show. I will sit cross legged on my chair from time to time! With my younger clients you may find me on the floor. I also use humor for rapport building. I know how to read a room, so it really depends on rapport and your comfort in session in regard to all of this.

And lastly, you will always have access to mints and/or candy!

Therapy isn’t just about “fixing” something.
It’s about remembering your worth, your voice, and your capacity to grow.
