As per my last post, my dad passed. Enter the worst depressive episode I’ve had in a minute. This is the first offering I’ve thrown together in months, but grateful to know it is well accepted no matter the length of time apart because of the depth of my connection to my deities.

Liminality///transitions

5/5/23– my dad passed.

Transitions are hard. Learning to do life without your first best friend feels impossible. And yet— I find myself grateful— for the journey— for the memories— for the traveler. For giving myself the best shot at a relationship with my dad…. I will never forget the ways you taught me to be stubborn, gentle hearted, kind, loving, generous, and above all else: Selfless.
Love you, Daddy. I know you’re partying it up in your biggest bell bottoms.

This time of year is always reflective for me. The new year just happened and my birthday is coming up.

Rebirth and renewal are on my mind. That being said, the transition between life and rebirth is death. There are a lot of cycles coming to an end, and as I reflect on what I’ve gained from those situations, I also grieve for what I lost.

But, even in my grief, I find sparks of the Goddess as she reminds me that in order to feel great loss, I must have once felt great comfort and safety.

Those moments are rare for me and I’ve found myself feeling grateful for the energy each of those situations gave me.

Positive or negative, we can transmute energy to achieve our highest goals ❤️‍🔥
