What does our viable report look like?

The great news is that we have yet again shown NO GROWTH in either our ante or clean rooms. As an infusion pharmacy, you are allowed (by the board of pharmacy) to show up to 100 counts of bacteria in your ante room and 10 counts of bacteria in your clean room. However, we have shown NO GROWTH in either room. We take pride in the environment in which we compound our patients medications.

[05/08/15]   We at Valley Vital Care want to extend our sincerest gratitude to all of the nurses in the healthcare industry that consistently provide exceptional care for patients. Our industry would not succeed without their dedication and hard work. We simply cannot say thank you enough for all that you do, day in and day out.

A special thanks goes to our very own nurse at Valley Vital Care, Andy Bush. The amount of time that Andy spends to ensure that our patients are individually cared for is irreplaceable. We know that our patients are truly thankful for his expertise, thoughtfulness, hard work and dedication, as are we.

[11/12/14]   We are waiting on just one more inspection to obtain full ability to work with insurance companies. We hope the inspectors will visit very soon. We are ready to demonstrate the future of great patient care.
Being a veteran owned business, we hope your Veteran's Day was peaceful.

[11/06/14]   Good afternoon to all of our Valley Vital Care followers. For those of you who are not aware, there are stringent laws regulated by the VA Board of Pharmacy, and on a national level with the United States Pharmacopeia, that outline the level of cleanliness that a sterile compounding facility, like ours, must maintain. Since opening, we have had two independent companies visit our facility to verify our clean room not only meets, but continues to exceed these requirements. We had testing done today to measure our particle counts in which sophisticated machines are used to pull in air from our clean environments and identify how many particles are floating around.
When entering a clean room one must pass through an ante room, or the gowning and garbing room. This is where hands are washed and technicians are prepped to enter the clean room. The air quality of this room must be class 8 or better. Inside the clean room must be class 7 and inside the hoods or workbenches in a clean room must be class 5. Sterile products are compounded in the class 5 environment inside the hoods.
We are proud to say that our ante/garbing room measured a class 6, or better than most clean rooms. And our clean room measured a class 5. Our entire clean room measures the same cleanliness as other pharmacies only achieve in their hoods.
Now we're not stating that we're better than our competitors, we just want our patients to sleep well knowing that we're watching out for them. If a patient, a loved one, or you need an infusion, wouldn't it be comforting to know that it comes from an environment as clean as ours?

More than just the seal. We are accredited by ACHC for sterile compounding, specialty pharmacy, and infusion nursing services.
