I got this for Bill for Christmas.. what I thought I was getting was a beautiful canvas print and it was supposed to be here before Christmas. It finally arrived last week.. 3 weeks late.. and it was not a canvas print.. but a poster! At first I was disappointed but then I began to look for a frame and found this perfect one, so i ordered it.. when it arrived, I put the poster into the frame and .. I love it ❤️
Thinking about this.. I’m seeing first hand.. that we don’t always get what we think we are getting.. but if we keep trying to see the best in the situation we are in, it will all work out..God is in control and will provide 😊
Praying everyday with everything I have that he will take care of my sweet Bill…

It's been a minute since I've posted anything here, and I'm sorry for that. I know everyone wants to know how Bill is doing, and I greatly appreciate all your love, support, and prayers. ❤️

Truth be told, it's hard, this situation we are in, trying to hold on, trying to be strong, sometimes just trying to get through the day. Bill needs this kidney transplant and he needs it soon.

Please don't stop sharing, praying, talking about it, and if you are considering becoming a potential donor, please do so now. The process takes several weeks and time is so valuable. The link to UC is on the 'Be There For Bill' page. You will just need his full name: William A McIntosh, and his DOB: 10/6/1966.

This past week was a hard one; Bill had been having extreme fatigue, like being in bed for 18-22 hours, and isn't doing too much. We've been watching a lot of Netflix, so any recommendations for a good show are welcome. We laugh when we can and thank the Lord for our family, friends, and the little ones in our lives; they bring Bill so much joy. On his good days, I try to make him go to the pub for lunch or taco Tuesdays. Thank you all for your continued prayers. 🙏❤️🙏 We need them and appreciate them.

This is us!! Celebrating my mom’s 87th birthday early so that Bill and I could attend… as we planned on pretty much quarantining until his transplant on 12/1.
However, things don’t always go as we plan.. and unfortunately, at Bill’s pre-op testing.. they found some new antigens in his blood that weren’t there before; and that he is no longer a match to his Donor…
They don’t know why this has happened, and quite honestly, I had no idea it could.. I don’t even fully understand yet, so I apologize for the lack of details…
I do know that he will not be having his kidney transplant on Monday.. and that this Friday, they will begin searching for a new Donor…
We are devastated, absolutely heartbroken; all this just happend 6 days out.. I am lost!

Hello everyone.. Bill has 10 dialysis left until transplant day!!! Amen!! And thank you all for your continued prayers - we greatly appreciate them and need them so!!
This picture is of Bill and Teresa!! Our donor, our friend and now forever part of our family. She has blessed us beyond words.. we love her and will be forever grateful.
There are so many people struggling with kidney disease-if you have ever thought about being a donor.. I encourage you to do so…Through this journey, I have met several people who have donated a kidney and said that it was one of the best things they have done in their life..❤️
December 1st is coming fast … please keep Bill and Teresa in your prayers!!

Believe it or not the 3rd picture here is the most recent! His daughters thought he needed a new look as he awaits his new kidney!! YES.. a kidney donor has been matched with Bill and the transplant will take place in a few months. We are beyond blessed and grateful ❤️❤️❤️

His donor, Teresa Bennett is an exceptional young woman. She is and has been for quite some time a great family friend and an extremely dear friend to our daughter, Danielle.

Teresa - there isn’t anything that can compare to the blessing that you’re giving our family. Words cannot describe how thankful we are for you and how much you mean to us.

Bill will keep pushing through dialysis until the transplant surgery takes place. Only 25 dialysis appointments left!! (But who’s counting?)

We continue to pray daily for a potential kidney donor match!! As we all celebrated Father’s Day this weekend.. and told our Dad’s how much we love them and thanked them for all they do for us…. I thanked God for this man!! The “Father” to my 2 beautiful daughters.. and the Pops to my absolutely awesome grandsons and soon to be my first granddaughter 🩷
We all love him so much and really need him to be here with us for a long time. We just want him to be healthy again.

We are still taking things one day at a time.. Bill continues to be in good spirits while we wait to find his perfect match!! It’s not easy waiting.. some days are harder than others… but some days are still amazing!
UC has told us to keep advocating for a live donor… so if you think this is something you would be willing to do, please go to his page and follow the link.. we need help rallying to get this for Bill.. please share.. please please please 🙏

Everything looks the same as last time he had this done which was 2022. That is great news. We needed this to continue to move forward with kidney transplant. Thank you all for your continued love, support and mostly prayers! One day at a time!! 🤞🏼

The waiting is one of the hardest parts of this journey that we are on….
Bill continues to have good days and bad days… dialysis is really hard on him-as I am sure it is for most.. He is so amazing-he is trying so hard to push through so much and to get as much done around the house as he can while he feels good…
We are still looking and praying for that “MATCH” for Bill.. we need your help.. please share, like, talk to people you know..
