Meet the Therapist!
Growing up Andrea was an active child who enjoyed playing soccer, swimming, skiing, and running track. Through her love of sports, she developed a passion for understanding how the human body works. After a knee injury in high school, she learned first hand how therapy could make a large impact on an individual’s life. She then decided to turn her passion into her profession and earned her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire.
Andrea has experience working with adults and children of all ages and diagnoses. Throughout various settings, including hospital environments, early intervention, outpatient and schools, Andrea has become proficient with applying her skills in order to help those in need. She has taken extensive courses further developing her skills in the areas of sensory integration, primitive reflexes, feeding, functional vision, and aquatic therapy. She is trained to use the The Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) method for reflex integration, Sequential Oral Motor and Sensory (SOS) approach for feeding deficits and is certified with using the Handwriting without Tears Program and Therapeutic Listening. Her main passion is to work closely with families. She wants to not only provide skilled therapy for an individual in need, but also provide education and strategies in which families can utilize at home to improve an individual's quality of life across multiple environments.
Andrea currently resides in rural New Hampshire with her husband and dog, Remi. She enjoys anything outdoors, from hiking, running, and fishing in the summer time to skiing and ice skating in the winter.
