We had a 𝐇𝐔𝐆𝐄 victory for the 𝚁𝙿𝚇 𝙴𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚎 𝙴𝚚𝚞𝚒𝚗𝚎 𝚃𝚎𝚊𝚖 last week!
Team member Ryann Packard, riding RPX Enterprise owned horse, 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐲 𝐅 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲, earned the title of 𝙽𝙲𝙷𝙰 𝙽𝚘𝚗 𝙿𝚛𝚘 𝙵𝚞𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚘𝚗!

There are so many to thank, starting with the late Jay Todd. Jay was a dear friend, a trusted advisor and mentor. Jay loved his family more than anything and we shared the love of our children riding good horses. When Ryann told me about this waspy, little gelding she liked I had reservations. I called Jay and in true Jay fashion, he laughed and talked me through it. Unfortunately, he passed away the next day. I can’t help but think he was all over that coliseum Thursday night. I could literally hear his laugh when they posted her score. So thank you Jay….ill miss my trusted friend.

Next , thank you to Cullen Chartier and Macall Banner for loving Ryann as much as I do. The joy on Macall’s face in one of the pics says it all. Thank you for preparing Dragon perfectly each round. The fist bumps, the love….exceptional. Thank you Marcus Spencer for you and Cullen’s expertise on such an exceptional horse.
Thank you R.L. Chartier , Casey Green and Clay Johnson for the help in the show pen. What a great group of helpers. The excitement and joy on each face in the pics were priceless.

Thank you to all the behind the scenes people that keep it all going. A crew of vets, farriers and team. Thank you Pete Evans for working on him ever day to help him feel his best. I know I’ll unintentionally miss someone and don’t want to as each person plays such a blg role in the totality of this. Thank you to everyone that text, called and cheered. 🫶🏻

Lastly, thank you Ryann. You make cutting fun. I remember the little girl that slept w her Breyer horses stacked neatly on her bed. All the horses that came before this one that taught you so much. You amaze me with full time college, full time job and the extra work you put into cutting. I’d love to post pics of you so little cutting up but I’ll save those.

Just a special thanks to our people that love and cheer us on in this crazy life. We definitely had the wildest cheering section with the most heart ❤️

I gotta say when Ryann told me a month before the futurity she wanted to change his name to Weezy F Baby….i was less than thrilled. I thought how will we ever sell a horse with a terrible name…and you can’t just give that name to any horse. He better be special. He proved that. I guess you’ll be seeing more rapper names in our program, lol.
