Merry Winter Solstice and Happy Holidays to YOU ALL!

Dear BREA Community,

We want to wish you all a Merry Solstice and Happy Holidays! We hope you all are staying warm and cozy this winter season.

The Winter Solstice marks the time when the days will begin to get longer, and it only gets lighter from here!

"May you find peace in the promise of the solstice night, that each day forward is blessed with more light."

This is a day of rebirth, transformation, and healing, a time to nurture yourself and to rest, dream, and relax in preparation for our growth in the spring.

We look forward to adventuring with you all again and will keep you updated on our events to come in the Spring!

With love and warmth,

Kristin and The BREA Team

**Hurricane Helene Update for the BREA Community**

Dear BREA Community,
First and foremost, we want to send an abundance of love to our beautiful community! We are deeply saddened by the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Our hearts go out to everyone who has lost loved ones, homes, and to all of us navigating this challenging situation together.

**Support Available**
If you require any support, please reach out to Kristin at
**828-778-2140**. We are here for you and are currently collaborating with numerous community resources. Our team will continue to conduct wellness checks, deliver food, water, and essential supplies, and assist with transportation to shower or laundry facilities.

**Community Resilience**
Over the past weeks, we have been actively working on immediate relief efforts within our community. We are incredibly amazed at the resilience and strength of our Appalachian folks. These challenges have only reinforced our bonds as a community.

**Event Cancellations**
With a heavy heart, we have decided to put all October events on hold until we gain a clearer picture of the future. It is crucial for us to focus on our community recovery efforts at this time. Refunds for all canceled events have been issued.

**Looking Ahead**
We understand how vital it is to celebrate life, even amidst heartbreak. Please stay tuned for updates in November regarding potential events in December.

Take care of yourselves and each other. Remember, we are just a phone call away if you need any support.

With love and strength,
Kristin and The BREA Team

Hi friends, we wanted to give you an update and send lots of love as we face this devastation and challenging situation together. Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected and who may have lost loved ones or who are still searching. This is truly heartbreaking πŸ’”

This is Kristin, and i'm finally just getting some intermittent cell service up here in Madison County and have found some friends in the area with power/internet. The devastation is tremendous up here and to my knowledge especially in Marshall and the Ivy river area. We will be committing to wellness checks and serving the area of Madison and Yancey Counties with our wheelchair accessible bus for transportation of people with disabilities and mobility challenges. Please reach out if you are in these areas and need transport. We can transport up to 14 people at a time.

Our events are obviously on hold for now while we help with immediate relief efforts. Thank you for understanding and we will be reaching out to everyone as we are able to.

Once again, our hearts are with you. Please take care everyone and please reach out if you need any support or assistance. ❀️
