🏈 CyHawk Fever Hits Van Diest Medical Center!

This week, our staff showed off team spirit as we geared up for the big CyHawk showdown!

From cardinal & gold to black & gold, we proudly wore our favorite team gear. We kicked things off with a tailgate party and Chili Cookoff on Wednesday. Congrats to Chili Champion Amanda Westrum!

Good luck to both teams on Saturday! And remember: no matter who wins, we're all on Team VDMC 💪❤️

For the past three years, Crystal Short has been an essential part of the Van Diest Medical Center team, serving as a dedicated House Supervisor. Her passion for patient care and her supportive presence have made a lasting impact on both her coworkers and the patients she serves.

Crystal says one of the highlights of her role is the people she works with and the positive atmosphere at VDMC.

“I like seeing the patients get to go home. It’s rewarding that we made a positive difference in their life,” she says.

Crystal finds great fulfillment in helping patients on their path to recovery, and her compassionate approach reflects the core values of our team.

Outside of work, Crystal enjoys relaxing with Netflix, indulging in some retail therapy, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
