We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Maria Santiago passed away earlier this week. We extend our heartfelt love and prayers to Maria’s family, and to all who knew her. Maria’s laughter was contagious, and her passion for our residents was undeniable.

Maria served as the Executive Director at The Club at Wellington, and our community was richly blessed by her infectious energy, her compassionate care, and her dedication to making each day a great day for everyone she encountered.

We will miss her tremendously and will carry her light in our hearts always.

Please keep Maria’s family, friends, residents, and team members in your thoughts and prayers as we all navigate this difficult time. If you have a tribute or happy memory of Maria, please share with us in the comments.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, March 22 from 2-4pm at All County's Del Lago Chapel, 131 S. Lakeside Drive Lake Worth, FL 33460.

Today was nothing short of spectacular! When Howie and Ellen’s daughter, Sandy, mentioned a few weeks ago that their anniversary was coming up, an idea sparked. Word spread quickly, and before we knew it, our whole team came together to make their vow renewal ceremony possible.

A huge thank you to every staff member who helped make today so special. It truly took a village, and your kindness and teamwork made it all happen.

Thank you also to the Wellington community for generously donating beautiful dresses for Ellen to wear. Your support meant the world to us and to her.

Howie and Ellen’s love story is truly one for the books — a beautiful reminder that love only grows stronger with time. It was such an honor to celebrate this incredible milestone with them. ❤️
