How can a certified practitioner decipher the severity of back pain?

Horses can develop back pain over time for a number of reason; poor saddle fitting, inconsistent work, structural anatomy, etc.

One thing I look for when evaluating a horse for a PEMF session is overall soreness and muscle spasm in one specific location on the body. If the horse has a pain response that is alarming, I always recommend to have the rDVM do an evaluation prior to any other treatments.

A certified practitioner should not only be well-versed with their machine and settings, they should also be able to have extensive equine knowledge to help enhance your horses treatment and performance.
