Awesome day at Wentzville Adult Day Center. We took some care packages to WentVille Police Department in honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. We also met Officer Winnie and some of her two legged co-workers. They even gave us some sweet swag.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear friend, Richard, who was a cherished part of both Cave Springs ADC and Wentzville ADC.

He brought so much love, joy, and connection to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence was felt in big and small ways, and he will always be remembered as part of our Adult Day Center families.

We hold Richard’s loved ones, friends, and all who cared for him close in our thoughts during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered. 🤍

Did you know this is National Law Enforcement Week? Did you know that there are 88 officers in the Wentzville Police Department? Did you know that there are four K-9 officers and one K-9 that works with victims and otherw who just need a little furry support? Did you know that we have worked on making some tokens of our appreciation for their hard work? Cannot wait to deliver them tomorrow!

It’s been an exciting day here at W.A.D.C.! When we got here today, our Elf, Leroy, had been tied up by the Grinch and thrown in a snake pit! Then thay mean old Grinch anuck into the kitchen and turned our breakfast pizza GREEN!

Our little WADC elves have been hard at work creating “Book Advent Calendar”. Each calendar comes with 25 Christmas books. One for each day of the advent season. Each one is wrapped so that your child can unwrap a book every day. The last book is the Christmas Story. We have five bundles available and they are $40 each. These books range from brand new to pre-loved and even some vintage books. This is a fun way to coundown to Christmas! If you would like one, please let me know. Merry Christmas!

Facebook wants to know “What’s on your mind.” At WADC, the answer to that question is doing what we can to make the holidays a little better for anyone we can. After some discussion, we have decided on a food drive. A lot of people are on the food “struggle bus” right now. Our goal is to fill our bus with groceries and goods for those struggling in our community. From now through December 1st, we will be collecting goods at our facility at 909 East Pitman in Wentzville. We will even come out and get them out of your car. At the end of the drive, we will take them to the Moscow Mills Lion’s Club and give them to their food pantry for distribution. For more info, call (636)219-3649!
