Our village is truly a blessing! A Heartfelt thanks to AG Plumbing in Weslaco, who generously gifted Aurora House with a brand-new washer. We do an average of 75 loads of laundry a week and having both washing machines working is crucial to the comfort of our patients.

A huge thank you to Armando, Cesar, & Eddie for your incredible donation!! Thank you AG Plumbing! Please support those who support our community.

You're invited to Dinner! 💀🍽️🍝

Death is the one thing none of us can avoid. So why not talk about it over dinner? Join us for Aurora House Foundation's first ever Death over Dinner- an evening of real conversation, open hearts, curious minds, and a nice Italian dinner.

📅July 29th, 2025
🕒7:00pm-9:00pm
📍2646 W. 18th St. Weslaco Tx., 78596- Education Building
🎟️Free event, dinner will be provided- RSVP prior to attending.

Why have this conversation over dinner you may be asking... The dinner table is the most forgiving place for difficult conversations. The ritual of breaking bread creates warmth and connection, and puts us in touch with our humanity. Death over Dinner is a group directed discussion about death, dying, and important end-of-life questions. This is not a support group or counseling session, but an opportunity to have an open conversation.

We will have Alejandra Ivanez, Pre-Planning Advising Manager, joining us for dinner, who will be available to answer any questions you may have.

🩷🌹Adult Bereavement Group🌹🩷

Join us FRIDAY July 25th, 2025 @6:30pm for our Adult Bereavement Support Group
📍2646 W. 18th Street Weslaco Tx - Education Building

Grieving the loss of a loved one is one of life's most difficult experiences. Our bereavement support group offers comfort and connection for those navigating this journey. Guided by compassionate bereavement counselors and supported by others who understand, we provide a safe, bilingual space for healing with our RGV community.

This month's gathering will feature a special activity centered on the symbolic meaning of the desert rose- a reflection of resilience, growth, and remembrance.
