Think about this for a moment…

If you pay $1,000 per month in rent for 10 years, you’ve spent $120,000 — and at the end of it, you still don’t own anything. Nothing to pass to the next generation...

In many areas, that same monthly payment could go toward a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with a yard, privacy fence, and space to truly call your own.

One of the biggest reasons people never pursue homeownership is because they assume:
• Their credit isn’t good enough
• They don’t have a large down payment
• They’ve been denied before
• No one ever explained their options

But programs like NACA are helping make homeownership possible for people who thought it was out of reach.

✔️ $0 down payment options
✔️ No closing costs in many cases
✔️ Flexible credit considerations
✔️ Financial counseling and support throughout the process

If your credit score is above 540 and you’re willing to do the work, homeownership may be closer than you think.

Stop assuming it’s impossible. Start asking questions and exploring your options. Your future self may thank you.

New Series!!!

Some stories entertain us.

Some stories expose us.

And some stories force us to confront the silent battles millions of people are fighting every single day.

This special 5-part series from *Embracing The Fight* follows the emotional journey of Amaya — a 54-year-old African American woman whose life changes in a single moment after losing her job, receiving a devastating cancer diagnosis, and confronting years of pain, shame, loneliness, and silent suffering.

But this series is bigger than Amaya.

It is about every woman who has ever felt discarded because of age.

Every person silently carrying an illness they are too afraid to talk about.

Every soul battling depression, isolation, rejection, betrayal, or fear behind closed doors while the world keeps moving like nothing happened.

This series tackles difficult but necessary conversations surrounding:

* Job loss and age discrimination
* AI fears and workplace replacement
* Cervical cancer and women’s health
* HPV and HSV-2 stigma
* Isolation and mental health
* Loneliness in middle age
* The emotional burden carried by strong Black women
* Learning how to ask for help
* Finding purpose after devastation

*Amaya* is emotional.
Heart wrenching.
Raw.
And painfully real.

Because too many people are suffering in silence.

If this story touches you… share it.
Someone you love may need it more than you know.

Welcome to *Embracing The Fight*.

Where we stop hiding pain…
and start healing through truth.

Please like, subscribe, and share this series on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and wherever meaningful conversations need to happen.

Because nobody should have to fight alone.

🎶 Music feeds the soul in ways words alone never could.

It lifts your spirit when the weight of the world tries to hold you down. One song can change your entire mood. The right beat can push you through the last mile, the final rep, or just a tough moment in your day.

Music calms anxiety. It speaks when you’re silent. It brings back memories, good and bad, helping you process, reflect, and heal. Whether you’re dancing, crying, or deep in thought—music is always there, right on time.

🎧 Let it move you. Let it soothe you. Let it strengthen you.

Are you building legacy or refusing to pass the baton? Do both. Even if you don’t have kids, you can live on through your works.

Besides watching everyone else’s dreams come true on social media, do this. Work on yours to make them a reality.

Know your why. If you don’t know the reason why you’re doing something, don’t do it. You lose steam and waste time. And you’re back at square one. Search your heart before you start.

03/23/2025

Where are you with your vision board? Resolutions? If no where, no worries. Start today. Giving yourself grace after a taste of reality can make all the difference.

Speak life. And watch those things begin to happen. “Money follows me”. Instead of “I’m broke”. Whatever you are saying, is true. Let it be the greater of the two.
