Trying to conceive can feel incredibly one-sided.

Tracking ovulation.
Testing hormones.
Changing your diet.
Doing everything “right.”
And still
 nothing changes.

What often gets missed is this: male fertility plays a role in nearly half of TTC cases — and s***m are extremely sensitive to lifestyle, toxins, heat, and daily habits. In some cases, recurrent miscarriages have also been linked to male factors like s***m quality and DNA integrity, which is why looking at both partners matters.

Things like ma*****na, testosterone therapy, smoking, heat exposure, and even long abstinence windows can directly impact s***m count, motility, and DNA quality. When both partners are supported, outcomes change.

If you’ve been told “everything looks normal” but you still aren’t pregnant
there is usually more to explore.
Dr. Lena breaks this down step-by-step in her upcoming fertility webinar — what’s often missed, what to test, and how to support BOTH partners naturally.

Whats up with POTS?
So many people spend years trying to get answers — told it’s anxiety, anemia, or “nothing is wrong” — while still dealing with dizziness, fatigue, palpitations, brain fog, and feeling like their body just isn’t functioning right.

What we often see is that symptoms are being driven by deeper stressors: immune dysfunction, gut issues, inflammation, poor nutrient absorption, toxins, mold exposure, food reactions, and an overwhelmed nervous system.

When those root triggers are addressed, symptoms often start to shift — because the body finally isn’t stuck in constant survival mode.

3 reasons you’re probably not getting pregnant

Inflammation puts the body in survival mode. Blood sugar chaos disrupts ovulation. And without proper liver support, hormones can’t be metabolized correctly. These root issues are often missed in traditional fertility conversations.

Trying to conceive and feeling like you’ve done everything
 but still not getting answers?

One of the biggest things we’re seeing right now is how environmental stressors quietly impact fertility.Plastics. Synthetic fragrance. Household chemicals. Heavy metals.

They influence hormone communication, immune balance, egg and s***m quality, and implantation.

And here’s the part most people don’t hear:
detoxing too aggressively — or too early — can actually make things worse if the body isn’t prepared.

We broke all of this down in our newest blog so you can understand what to address first and why sequencing matters.

Comment BLOG and I’ll send it to you.

“Unexplained infertility” often really means unexplored.

Most fertility clinics check hormones, run imaging, and do a semen analysis.
That’s important — but it’s also just the starting point.

What often gets missed:
‱ thyroid antibodies
‱ clotting disorders
‱ insulin resistance
‱ immune factors
‱ nutrient deficiencies
‱ environmental stressors

And when those pieces are ignored, couples are left feeling stuck
cycling through appointments, treatments, and frustration without real answers.

If you’ve been trying to conceive and feel like you’re doing everything “right” but nothing is changing — your body may be asking for a deeper look.

Fertility is rarely one system.

It’s the gut, immune system, hormones, inflammation, nutrients, and environment working together like a Swiss watch.
Join Dr. Lena’s Fertility Masterclass + live webinar designed to walk you through TTC prep, support during the journey, and what actually moves the needle before jumping into another round of guessing.

If you and your partner have been meaning to prioritize your health but life keeps getting in the way
this is your sign to start now — together.

If I were planning to get pregnant in the next 6–12 months, here’s exactly what I’d do.

1ïžâƒŁ Test to identify my stressors
We don’t guess, we test. Comprehensive labs allow you to see what combination of physical, chemical, and emotional stressors are creating inflammation in your body.

đŸ’ȘđŸŒ Physical stressors include things like poor posture, injuries, sedentary lifestyle, overexercising, car accidents, poor sleep, or damage to reproductive structures.
đŸ§Ș Chemical stressors include mold, endocrine disruptors, inflammatory foods, environmental toxins, and gut dysbiosis.
🧠 Emotional stressors include chronic nervous system stress and unresolved trauma.

2ïžâƒŁ Remove or reduce those stressors
This might mean healing the gut, improving sleep, stabilizing blood sugar, reducing toxin exposure, or supporting the nervous system. The body doesn’t make mistakes. When you remove interference, it can function the way it was designed to!

3ïžâƒŁ Give the body time to regulate
It can be pretty disheartening for the patient who so desperately wants to conceive, yet knows that they now have a lot of work to do ahead of them that is ultimately going to push their date further back, granted that we are aiming to have the healthiest pregnancy, postpartum, and baby that we can.

The bare minimum I recommend for prepping for conception is 6 months, but if I had it my way, couples would be seriously considering their health for 12+ months before TTC and running comprehensive labs to really understand their starting point.

Even if you’re not planning on having children soon, optimizing your fertility supports balanced hormones, energy, and long-term health!

Synthetic Fragrance is the death of your fertility

Fertility clinics don’t allow synthetic fragrance because it’s an endocrine disruptor that can impact embryos — yet most homes are filled with it. The products you use daily can quietly affect hormones, inflammation, and reproductive health.

Why Hashimotos SUCKS

Many people with Hashimoto’s are told their labs are “normal” because TSH looks fine — but they’re still exhausted, gaining weight, losing hair, and feeling off. That’s because autoimmune thyroid issues aren’t just thyroid problems
they’re immune system problems, and they require a deeper look at gut health, inflammation, and triggers driving the attack.

Supplement Spotlight 🍒 Schisandra

If you’ve been feeling constantly tired, stressed, or like your hormones and energy are all over the place, it’s not always about needing more caffeine or pushing harder — it’s often about how well your body is handling stress and supporting detox pathways.

Schisandra is a berry extract traditionally used to support liver function, adrenal health, endurance, and the body’s ability to adapt to physical and emotional stress. When these systems are under pressure, it can show up as fatigue, hormone imbalances, brain fog, sluggish digestion, and poor recovery.

This is why we often use Schisandra in care — not as a quick fix, but as targeted support while we work on the deeper root causes driving inflammation, stress, and energy issues.

The goal isn’t to rely on supplements forever.

The goal is to support the body where it’s struggling so it can function the way it was designed to.

Contact our office to see if Schisandra is right for you.
