Where I would start if I was experiencing chronic fatigue (knowing what I know now)
In the past, I'd often suggest detox protocols, gut health plans or supplements meant to "reset". Initially, most would feel great but it seemed like the changes didn't stick long term... which became frustrating to me.
I realized that if all I'm doing is trying to correct a symptom with a detox plan or supplement, I'm no better than the allopathic providers I claim to be different from. (ouch.)
I focused more heavily on my clients daily nutrition plans and saw people make great changes with a 90% whole-food diet but I still wanted to offer something that would provide even more predictable, sustainable change.
Nutrition is vital but if you are missing your personal imbalances you still won't address that root you're looking for. You can't just increase protein and fiber and expect miracles. This is why I now recommend hair mineral testing (HTMA) as a starting point for anyone looking to work with me.
