Hi,My name is Stephanie the founder of angel Quilts for you.My angel son Lincoln inspired me to create this site to reach out to other families who have loved and lost a baby just like me. We have 2 beautiful children that I love more than anything in the world.Audra is 7 years old and growing soo fast physically and mentally. She has such a strive for learning and reading.I can not ask for a more well behaved child which makes her soo very enjoyable to be around.She stole my heart from the very beginning.She is learning to quilt with me now so watch for her work!! Our son Lincoln was born March 13,2007.He stole the other half of my heart before he even entered into this world.I was very fortunate to be a stay at home mommy to care for my 2 children while I attended school.After a very short 3 months Lincoln died in his sleep on June 16th.Final cause of death was determined to be SIDS.My world shattered into a million pieces. It is soo hard to understand why these things happen to very happy healty babies or even to just us.The question of Why will never go away.There is constant questions that will never be answered.The grief is hard to deal with,but life goes on whether you want it to or not.I miss and love him soo much more than words can ever say.He will never ever be forgotten and his memory kept alive through us always and forever. After he was born I got a tubal ligation as it was the best choice for us at the time.We had our 2 children and we were done.Now we face the problem that it was the worst thing we could've ever done.We are trying to save and raise money to get a tubal reversal which costs $6,000.I pray that one day soon we can be on the road to trying again before its too late. I have been quilting since 2006.This is my passion and I love to do it.When Lincoln passed away I was inspired to make quilts,pillows,etc for the other families in need of something special to cherish of their loved ones.I know what its like to have little to nothing to keep for Lincoln and I always look for that little something extra special to remember him by.My work is done purely from the bottom of my heart and made with all my love.I find that it helps me through my grief to do something special for someone else.I am not here to take anyone for granted.I keep my cost low so that it is affordable for you but I have enough to cover cost of materials and a little bit of my time.If there is anything you would like specially made please do not hesitate to ask.I am always open to new things.Almost anything in my picture albums can be re-created or please feel free to use some of it for other ideas.In regards to the awareness quilts, I have only done pregnancy/infant loss and breast cancer.If you would like to have any other awareness I would be more than happy to do so for you.All you have to do is ask. I look forward to getting to know new people here.I am here for support if you shall need it.Our network of angel families keeps on growing.The pain will never fade but will get somewhat easier to cope with in time.Through the support of each other we find ways to manage getting through each day.
