🔥 CONSISTENCY MATTERS 🔥

Public safety should never depend on the day of the week or the time of day. Residents deserve the same level of protection every time they call for help, and firefighters must be able to operate safely and effectively on every response.

When staffing levels vary, emergency operations can begin to rely on best case conditions rather than consistent coverage. That lack of consistency can affect response capability, increase risk during complex incidents, and place unnecessary strain on the system during high demand moments.

Safe staffing supports safer decision-making, effective supervision, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and overlapping calls without compromise. Reliable public safety is built on systems that perform the same way every day. Safe staffing saves lives, and that principle should guide responsible public safety planning moving forward.
