This seventh day of Navaratri, which is Kalaratri, is literally translated as a dark night. So Maha Devi in the form of Kalaratri, in Her dark aspect, symbolizes the dark aspect which is inside of each one of us. This positive and negative is part of life and it always depends on what side you hold onto.

Kalaratri Devi is genuinely soft-hearted, and acts solely out of love for Her children. She is continuously giving, again and again, to purify Her children so that they may attain the Divine.

Today is dedicated to Skanda Mata. The baby that she holds represents not only Skanda, but all humanity. She is Jagad Janani. 'Janani' means 'sweet mother'. Here Maha Bhagavati took this form to remind us that everyone is Her child and all are Her creation.

Chandraghanta Devi is the form of Maa that grants eternal strength to Her devotee. On the third day she killed the demons that represent fear in disguise as anger and greediness inside each one of us.

When we are fully absorbed in the Divine, the mind will be transformed, and that quality of the Divine which is residing deep within us starts to resurface. Then, fear has no place. There is only room for complete acceptance.

Observe what is happening around you. See that there is opportunity everywhere. ❤️
