Congratulations to all of the graduates - from kindergarten to GED, to PhD and everyone in between. What you have accomplished is amazing. No doubt, it was hard, but you are here. You made it because you are strong. You made it because YOU did the work and YOU didn't give up on YOU. What you may remember, when times get hard again, is the faces of people who helped you. I'm so glad you had those faces. Don't mistake though that you did it. This is your accomplishment and the next trials and goals are yours also. You can get through them and to them. You can achieve your goals, and you can do hard things. Is it easier when you have an army behind you, yes. I hope you always have an army. If you find that you do not, from time to time, know that you are an army also. You are loved. You are smart. You are worthy and today you are a graduate of one chapter and moving on to the next! Go do great things. Do them knowing you are never alone. You are always welcome here for support. You are always loved, worthy, and capable. Give it to God and go change the world! - Dr. C

Fig & Vine headed over to Carterville recently to share our passion for helping kids with a room full of great minds that shared the same passion. Thanks Region 21 Action Council for allowing us to share what we do and allowing us to extend the open door to providing help to kids in Southern Illinois. A healthy education has to start with a mind that is ready to learn. We are always thankful to be part of big healing for little people in need.

This started as a giant conference room full to the ceiling with law books. We’ve gotten it divided to add a fifth therapist office and are tidying up the space for meetings next week and then final touches of dry wall and one more barn door wall to be complete! Fig & Vine green is down on two walls and look at that 1920’s WF city map!!!! Go Birds!

We are so excited to officially partner with Grand Canyon University as a HEAL partner in Southern Illinois communities. GCU offers private, affordable, Christian education online with individualization for each students needs. The best part is being able to link up with Terri, who is local and in person to meet and support your journey. Our collaboration with GCU will allow Fig & Vine to better network people’s needs with resources available to break cycles, open doors, and find whole person healing. When we say we want to support you - we mean all of you and your life, at Fig & Vine. We are thankful to be part of healing journeys.

As a sister agency to the West Frankfort Coalition for the Homeless, we are extra blessed to add one resource option to support longevity in stability for those most in need. If you are someone you know is looking for a new chapter, reach out and let us support your journey! - Dr. C

Did you know that there is a way to have inappropriate pictures on the internet removed? The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children offers a tool to keep kids safe by helping to remove pictures that surface and circulate online. Whether shared by themselves, by others, or AI generated, what is on the internet doesn't have to stay there for your child.

April is Child Abuse Prevention month. Fig & Vine is dedicated to partnering in all rooms where child safety is a priority.
