Last week I had the pleasure of giving a MasterClass at Tina Kiniry Management, a modeling and acting management company in West Hartford. I talked about managing mental health in the entertainment industry. Have you ever walked a labyrinth? It is a wonderful contemplative practice. I discovered this one this morning on the grounds of St. Mary Home in West Hartford. Walking it brought me calm and insights that I needed to connect with today. I highly recommend doing a walk soon.

Last week I had the pleasure of giving a training at Empowered Beginnings in Hamden to doulas working with incarcerated women and women in recovery homes dealing. We talked about the challenges they have with mental health and substance use disorder, and how to support them with trauma-informed care. So great to enhance learning for people who will then go use that knowledge for good.
