Do oral collagen supplements actually work?

Your body will always prioritize what needs fixing and your skin is usually the last stop on the repair train.

Once collagen supplements are broken down by the gut into amino acids to use as repair agents throughout the body, nothing tells them to go straight to the skin. There’s no “ship-to” address.

So they COULD potentially help your skin, but it’s not likely you’ll see much benefit and it definitely won’t REPLACE anything we already recommend for healthy, strong collagen stimulation.
