In December we were able to purchase a wheelchair online and have it shipped to our 348th recipient. Kyra has a myriad of health issues and was in need of a lightweight manual wheelchair to regain her independence. She had not been able to attend school as her old wheelchair was not transport approved. Kyra's physical therapist was able to adjust this new wheelchair to fit her unique physical needs. Now Kyra is happily back at school in her new Helio C2 by Motion Composites and can take the bus with her friends. This lightweight, carbon fiber frame is durable and folds easily for her parents to take it in the car. Her radiant smile says more that words! Your generous tax-deductible donations help make this miracle happen! Thank you.

Today we celebrate the first " " of 2026. 12 year old Alisha received her new Zippie tilt-in-space wheelchair in front of her school. This was our 351st free mobility equipment donation to a child in need. The presentation was attended by Tj Mathieu who delivered the wheelchair from West Palm Beach, one of her two dedicated physical therapists, Monet Rey and her daughter Coral, (Regine Vencer unable to attend) Alisha's mother Josette, her sister, and two members of the school board. It was thrilling to see the joy on Alisha's face! Regine returns on the 6th and will make all the necessary adjustments to fit Alisha now an as she grows.
Thank you to everyone who has made a monetary donation to our pediatric mobility program that enables us to continue our mission to help children with disabilities.

Our third presentation Wednesday went to lovely Samantha, 21, who desperately needed a new wheelchair. We were able to purchase a new frame, all new seating, and use the wheels, casters, and small parts from her existing wheelchair to make the new one perfect for her and save some of the expense as well. This was our 347th . She was thrilled with the results. She will be attending college soon to study psychology, and we see great things in her future. On hand to witness the three presentations were members of the New Florida Follies who are sponsoring an upcoming candidate in 2026, our vice president Trish Maier, our supporter, Carolyn Sanislo, and new supporter Karine Patenaude who was our photographer for the event. We thank Options Mobility for hosting the presentations in their facility and for wonderful Mike Dambra for ensuring all of our candidates have safe and well-fitting mobility equipment.

Who can stop an active 4-year-old? Nobody! Zayden is a happy, growing boy in need of a gait trainer to build strength, coordination, and have the to move around on his own. He uses a Rifton Pacer at therapy and now is the proud owner of his very own! It was all we could do to snap a few photos without him rushing off under his own power in delight. He also received an ultralight Drive Nimbo posterior walker to use at school. These were our 345th and 346th to a child with a disability in need of mobility equipment. If you would like to be part of changing the lives of these children, please visit our website www.ChariotsOfLove.org to learn more.

18-year-old Jarol is a recent high school graduate with big plans! Due to his cerebral palsy, he uses a powered wheelchair to get around. His family asked for a manual wheelchair to use for easier transport and when his powered wheelchair is out of service. We had received a donation of a fantastic Ki Mobility Catalyst 5 wheelchair from Toni Mitchell after the passing of her daughter, Alexa. Alexa had been a previous recipient of a similar wheelchair back in June 2020 from Chariots Of Love as our 109th Gift of Mobility at that time. It was the ideal wheelchair for Jarol. Mike Dambra of Options Mobility made all the adjustments for a perfect fit for Jarol. Jarol's wheelchair is our 344th . Toni was in attendance to see how her generous gift can now help improve the life of this young man, in Alexa's memory. It was very emotional. On hand to witness the three presentations that day were some of the members of the New Florida Follies that had made a donation to us this summer. We thank Options Mobility for all of their continued support of our candidates in providing excellent ATP services, doing the candidate evaluations, and as our mobility equipment professional business partners. Our 3 presentations Wednesday were kindly held in their
Boca Raton offices.

Younger brother Jean, age 1, has the same genetic disorder as his brother Jude from the previous post. We were thrilled when his parents Abby and Jesse came Sunday with the boy's physical therapist, Melissa Perez, to select three excellent pieces of FREE mobility equipment for his development and strength building. These were our 338th, 339th and 340th Gifts Of Mobility. If you can make a tax-deductible donation to help children like these, please visit our website www.ChariotsOfLove.org

Two local brothers with the same genetic disability received their " from last Sunday. Loving parents, Abby and Jesse, both military veterans, asked for assistance for their two young sons. This post is of Jude, age 3 and the wheelchair he received so he can now attend school, his stander, and ultralight gait trainer. These were our 341st, 342nd, and 343rd Gifts of Mobility to children in need. (His brother Jean will be featured in our next post.) We thank their physical therapist Melissa Perez for being there with them that day and to PT Patricia Handler for also assisting in the selection of appropriate mobility equipment beforehand for these adorable boys. If you know of a child that needs a wheelchair, gait trainer, or stander, please have them contact us through our website www.ChariotsOfLove.org.

This morning was one of 140 Palm Beach County non-profit organizations to be blessed with grant funding from Quantum Foundation's "Quantum in the Community" program. Their continued support allows us to bring our vision and passion for helping families with disabled children live better lives. They believe in our work, hold us accountable, and even provide the training we need to operate successful charities.
Today Trish Maier, our vice president, and I enjoyed the fabulous venue, networked with like-minded charity management, and were inspired by the work being done by so many to make Palm Beach County a better place to live for everyone.
As a small non-profit, finding funding for the desperate families that need our services is a constant challenge. Every single donation is greatly appreciated and goes directly to the pediatric mobility program. Our volunteer staff take no compensation so these tax deductible donations have the greatest impact.
We feel honored and humbled by the generosity of Quantum in the Community and driven to help as many mobility-challenged children as possible. We cannot thank them enough for believing in our mission.
