1 year ago, I met the proverbial fork in the road.
My employer gave me 2 options, regarding the sale of his business location.

1. Move to their 2nd location without my business & customers in 3 days.
2. Be done working for them after 3 years.

I chose option 2.....Since then, my paychecks aren't 4 days late.
I'm not getting yelled at across the parking lot for spending $22 on touch-up paint. Also haven't been told my work sucks for not getting concrete off a cloth seat or automotive paint.

Wish I had ventured out on my own a long time ago, but when 1 door closes, another one does open.
