If you're vegan or vegetarian and pregnant, here's how to get the nutrients your body needs while avoiding potential side effects. 🌱 ✨
Being vegan or vegetarian while pregnant is great because it means you'll be eating a lot of fruits and vegetables which is amazing for you and your growing baby 🌿
There are a few nutrients though that you may need to supplement due to the fact that you won't be getting it from a meat source. One of those nutrients is B12. You can only get B12 from meat so you will need to supplement that with a B12 vitamin (please talk with your care provider before starting any vitamins).
