🗣 “She’s going through perimenopause, so I’ve shared resources and suggestions… to help shift the perspective to something more positive.”

Perimenopause isn’t just a personal journey — it’s a shared one.
When one person starts asking questions, others feel safer seeking answers too.

It starts with awareness. It grows through community.
And it leads to a future where women face these transitions feeling informed, supported, and seen.

Benefits plans are only as powerful as the people who understand and use them.
We’ve made progress in how we talk about chronic conditions with clear pathways for diabetes support, obesity management, and mental health.

But when it comes to women’s health, the clarity isn’t there.
Support might technically exist in the plan, but if no one knows it’s available, is it really accessible?

From fertility to menopause, women’s health needs are too often hidden under generic categories. Vague language. Passive rollout. No real guidance on what’s covered or how to get it.

The result?

Low utilization. Delayed care. Widening health equity gaps. And missed opportunities to show employees that their lived experience actually matters.
💭 What would it look like to communicate benefits in a way that actually connects with the women using them?

💬 How are you making women’s health visible — not just in policy, but in practice?
Let’s move beyond listing coverage. Let’s start designing it around the people who need it.

🗣 “My mom was going through menopause… but I wasn’t aware. Now that I’m older, I’m more empathetic.”

Menopause often happens quietly — in the background of busy households, careers, and lives. So many people struggle without ever naming it, and so many loved ones don’t realize until years later.

It’s not too late to start understanding. It’s not too late to start showing up.

Let’s bring these conversations into the open — for ourselves, and for the people we love.

As we get older, restful sleep doesn’t come as naturally—and that’s not just in your head.

🧪 Melatonin levels decline, making it harder to fall asleep.
📈 Cortisol can rise at night, disrupting deep rest.
💡 Blue light exposure delays the body’s sleep signals.
📱 Stress and screens amplify it all, rewiring our sleep rhythms.

The upside? There’s a growing body of science on how to restore sleep quality—from targeted supplements and cognitive therapies to small, consistent bedtime habits that make a real difference.

Tap through to explore what’s happening in your body—and how to work with it for better sleep.

🗣 “There isn’t any education. It should be taught in schools. It should be accessible. Everyone should know.”

Menopause isn’t niche. It’s not rare. It’s not optional.
It’s a natural part of life for millions — yet barely makes it into health class or workplace policies.

This isn’t just a gap. It’s a disservice.
We’re here to change that.

isn’t just a campaign — it’s a call for better education, better conversations, and better care.

This Canada Day, we’re not launching a promise. We’re delivering a proven solution. 🇨🇦

Canada’s healthcare system isn’t built for prevention—or hormone health.
We are.

With 5 years of clinical leadership, 40,000+ patients served, and a team of 25+ NPs delivering care across the country, we’ve already built the platform others are still planning.

While the wait time for hormone care is “loading” in most clinics,
ours is 0.
Because hormones don’t wait—and neither should you.

This July 1st, we’re proud to say: real Canadian care is here. And it’s working.

Most people don’t learn about menopause until they’re in it.
By then, it’s often confusing, overwhelming, and isolating.

We don’t talk about it enough. We don’t teach it enough.
And what little information exists? Often doesn’t match real life.

It’s time for education that reflects lived experience — and support that meets people where they are.

We’ve got buckets for diabetes and obesity. So where’s the one for women’s health?

Benefit plans are getting better at organizing support for chronic conditions. Need help managing diabetes? There’s a clear path. Obesity? Covered. But women’s health? Still murky. Still hidden. Still under “general wellness.”

In Episode 1 of UNMUTED, Hira Siddiqui (Co-Founder, Science & Humans) joins Lianne Clarke (Vice President, Wellness & Disability Innovation, Cowan Insurance Group) to ask the hard questions:
Why isn’t women’s health being named, seen, and prioritized in our plans?

💡 What supports are actually available for women right now?
💡 What’s falling through the cracks—from fertility to menopause?

It’s time to stop making women’s health a silent category—and start designing benefits that speak directly to her.

📅 The next episode of UNMUTED is coming soon. Stay tuned for details.

🗣 “Before menopause, I was always tired. After? I gained energy. I feel better now than I did back then.”

Menopause doesn’t have to mean decline — for some, it’s a beginning.
More clarity. More calm. More connection with yourself.

It’s not about “fighting” your body.
It’s about becoming friends with it — and finding freedom in the process.

Fertility treatments. Postpartum recovery. Perimenopause. Menopause.

Across each of these stages, women often show up in claims data under mental health: anxiety, depression, fatigue.
But here’s the problem, most of these claims don’t reflect the root cause.

Hormonal fluctuations during these life transitions can mimic psychiatric symptoms, yet they’re rarely screened for. The result?
A growing number of women are misdiagnosed, under-treated, and cycled through ineffective care, all while their true needs go unmet.

For organizations, this means ballooning disability claims, poor retention, and declining engagement, especially among mid-career women. But more importantly, it reflects a systemic failure to understand what women in the workplace are actually going through.

The data is speaking. But we’re not listening to the right signals.
If we want to lead in preventive care, reduce misdiagnosis, and close equity gaps in health benefits, hormone health has to be part of the conversation.

This isn’t a women's issue. It's a systems issue. And it’s time we treated it that way.

🗣 “It’s a milestone. It’s a beautiful thing. Like when I first got my period — I was scared. But then I realized: this is part of what makes us women.”

Menopause isn’t an ending. It’s a passage. A time of change, strength, and wisdom.
And like every rite of passage, it deserves to be met with care, conversation, and community — not silence.

Let’s start celebrating it, not dreading it.
Let’s pass down knowledge, not shame.
