Building our foHRsight+ community isn’t just work—it’s purpose. It’s calling.

In a world that often defaults to:
- Competition over collaboration
- Division over dialogue
- Scarcity over abundance

We’re choosing a different path. As HR leaders navigating unprecedented change, we’ve never needed deep, meaningful relationships with like-minded peers more than now.

This is the heart of foHRsight+. We connect as humans first, professionals second—learning alongside and from one another while pursuing our shared mission of making work better.

At our *quarterly* foHRsight+ Roundtables, foHRsight+ members get to share best practices with like-minded HR Leaders. They bring BIG topics to the table so we can talk about what we are experimenting with, what we're curious about, and what we're nervous about in a safe space.

At our Roundtable this week, we chatted about AI. Here are some take-aways:

💡 Try experimenting with AI in your personal life and see if you can draw parallels to the employee experience – use it for admin or planning (e.g., Siri to take notes or type texts or schedule appointments or plan a vacation) and extrapolate learnings to transactional tasks at work so that our HR teams aren’t bogged down

🔎 Focus on problem to solve then how can AI help support / make things faster, easier, less biased, etc.

🤖 Three areas ripe for AI:

1️⃣ Talent Acquisition (e.g., generating job descriptions and postings, mining data on Linkedin, interview scheduling, screening, etc.) ;

2️⃣ Development (e.g., creating learning programs, performance coaching, recommending learning interventions to close skills gaps);

3️⃣ Transactional / self-service support (e.g. chat bots to find and interpret employee policies, questions about benefits, etc.)

⚠️ Some watch-outs:

1️⃣ Bias - sometimes more human bias, sometimes more tech bias – need balance of human-tech partnership;

2️⃣ Hallucination – information and source credits are not always correct – need to check sources and not rely entirely on AI (again human-tech partnership)

3️⃣ Societal implications - worry about pendulum swinging too far in favour of AI over humans
