Sometimes, it can seem like your feelings and mental health struggles are not as important as other people's struggles, and that can become a barrier to asking for support/help or talking about it with others. But, there is no "worse" or "better" to mental health and all mental health struggles are completely valid, real, and important!!

With travel restrictions and summer approaching, feelings of homesickness can creep up to those of us who live far away from the people and places they call "home".
There are ways we can cope with feelings of homesickness, such as chatting with loved ones from back home, keeping busy, and finding home comforts locally. Taking a break from social media can also be helpful, as photos of back home can bring further feelings of homesickness. As homesickness can lead to depression and anxiety, reach out for support - to loved ones, people in your community, and therapists who can work through your feelings with you.
