Happy 197th Birthday to the founder of Osteopathy! ❤️

Happy Birthday Dr. Andrew Taylor Still! On August 6, 1828, A. T. Still was born in Lee County, Virginia, to Rev. Abram Still and Martha Still. "I suppose I began life as other children, with the animal form, mind, and motion all in running order. I suppose I bawled, and filled the bill of nature in the baby life."- Opening words to chapter one of the Autobiography of A. T. Still

Struggling to get a good night’s rest? The colder months often bring increased stress, tension, and physical discomfort that can disrupt sleep. Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OMPs) use a gentle, hands-on approach to address these challenges by reducing muscle tension, improving circulation, and promoting balance in the nervous system. By focusing on the body as a whole, osteopathy supports natural relaxation and helps restore healthy sleep patterns, contributing to your overall health and well-being.

The start of a new year is a time for fresh beginnings, but lingering pain and discomfort can hold you back. Whether it’s a stiff back, sore neck, or persistent joint pain, these issues can often worsen during the colder months.

Osteopathic manual practitioners (OMPs) take a whole-body approach to addressing pain. By focusing on the interconnected systems of the body—muscles, joints, nerves, and circulation—they can help:
✅ Identify the root cause of discomfort
✅ Alleviate tension and restore mobility
✅ Promote your body’s natural healing

Don't let last year’s pain carry over into 2025. Find an OSTCAN OMP near you: https://ostcan.ca/mpage/members-search
