The Holistic Connection logo is a design made up of a logomark and wordmark that is intended to depict
the state of being that people will experience when you help them remember who they are. That is a
lifelong process of becoming aware of and figuring out how the 7 Pillars of Health relate to create an overall state of alignment, balance and
connection.

This concept is indirectly inspired by the geometric, Polynesian designs to both honour and respect
your roots. While it contains detail and depth, it is not overwhelming, and lands clearly and impactfully.

True story: this song reminds me of Summer 2019 when April and I fell in love and realized our dreams together were aligned. One afternoon we had an audition that included dancing and acting (new to me). I’ve auditioned for dance gigs before but not in this particular style. I’d usually be nervous going into auditions, let alone a style outside of hip hop, but I felt fearless with April by my side. We danced together to this song. Our first song, I suppose! Everytime I hear it I think of that memory.

Not only does April believe in my vision with Holistic Connection but she believes in me when I forget. And as of late, I’ve seen us as supporting each other, our community, Holistic Connection, but most importantly our children in a similar way like we did in that first audition— just dancing with each other.

It’s an honour and I’m grateful.
