Debbie Dantes is a long-time friend and colleague of many of us. For more than 15 years, Debbie has been living with the difficulties and challenges of Multiple Sclerosis. The physical effects of MS have progressed, and along with limiting her previously very active lifestyle, it is now impacting her ability to manage many everyday activities because her balance has been compromised and her walkin
g is sometimes unsteady. With the determination and resolve she has long demonstrated, Debbie has worked with her doctors, and recently had the opportunity to try out a break-through medical device that enables her to walk with a more regular gait, giving her balance and safety, and the ability to perform many of the simple activities that we take for granted, such as grocery shopping or performing simple household chores. With this device tested and proven to improve her walking and stability, Debbie is approved to purchase this device. The cost is NOT covered by insurance, and will be several thousand dollars, which presents a huge financial burden, as it would for many of us. Those of us who have witnessed her fight against MS would like to lend a hand financially and enable her to make this life-changing purchase....and of course, we plan to have a great time doing it! We are holding a Spring Fling to benefit the Deb Dantes MS Benefit fund. You are invited to join us for a party that will include food, music and dancing, a good time, and the ability to help Debbie achieve this important goal - literally taking the next steps in her battle against MS. If you would like to contribute to this effort but may not be able to attend, there is a fund where donations of any size may be directed to help us meet our goal. Our goal is to raise enough money to allow Debbie to purchase the device. Thanks in advance for being a part of achieving this goal!
