Let’s talk about some Botox myths we've heard… and the actual truth behind them✨

1. “It’ll freeze my face.”

At Refine, it’s Botox the way YOU want it. If you want to calm your lines down but maintain motion, we’re here for that! 🙌

2. “I’m too young / too old for Botox.”

Botox can be preventive or restorative. The right time is when you decide you’re ready—as long as you’re at least 18. It’s not just for deep resting lines—it can also be used to gently shape and enhance features and can be used for subtle treatments like a lip flip 👄

3. “It’s only for aesthetics.”

One of our most popular treatments for college-age patients is Botox injected into the masseter muscle to treat jaw clenching and teeth grinding due to stress. We also offer Botox for hyperhidrosis (excessive armpit sweating), and “Barbie Botox”—a procedure that uses Botox injections to relax the trapezius muscles, offering relief from chronic neck and shoulder pain 😖
