I have ways of still getting great appointments in. Virtually. Calls or texts. I’ve even worked with weighted feeds getting you into my office on live video. You got this. I’m not gone for long.

Dr. Heather is a dear friend and will allow you j to my office as needed. If you just need a weight check only drop in and weigh your baby. That’s free of charge. Let me know your needs so we can make arrangements.

If we communicate there will be a charge.

👂🏼 Shen Men: helps emotional processing

This method I learned about today has an abundant history. Many cultures have used this and in the 1970’s the Black Panthers & the Young Lords used this technique to help their communities recover from addictions and traumatic life events. If you would like to learn more about some rich history using this therapy to detox and heal from substance abuse check out Dope is Death a podcast. Dope is Death on YouTube. This is used in conjunction with other therapies.

It’s a non-verbal way to gain some relief in a community setting for stress, pain, trauma & substance use. You can sit quietly. 30 min just breathing.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Will also be no milk circle on the 4th of July or July 18th as I’m taking classes on ear points training with the RIDOH. I’m so excited to learn something new that can help with anxiety in new mamas. I truly love accupuncture and acupressure techniques.

Also presently taking some really great classes for my continuing education this week. Soon will be sharing some cool new things with my mamas.

“What is this??!!??”

Frantic calls from mamas come in every so often. This is what some milk looks like as it thickens with clogs. It can be uncomfortable to pass. Especially when nursing. Hand expressing. Or pumping.

Often when we feed at the breast we will never see them. The liquid passes from mother’s breast straight from the tap into the mouths of their babes. Being at the breasteraunt does not allow us to see all the colors and changes of our milk.

However, now more than ever many women have chosen to become exclusive pumpers. So they may see a lot of variances in their milk. In color. Amount. Fat content. And even In visualizing a clog that comes through.

Birthday Month🤍🕊️

It’s time to take inventory. Always working on my relationship with God because that is something very important.

Other things I’m grateful for
🤍🕊️my family. Cousins I don’t see enough. Aunts and uncles whom have had a hand in raising me.

🤍🕊️life has many joys and sorrows. It has been a week. I hold babies and the hands of the dying all in one week.

🤍🕊️grateful for the gifts God has given me. Art. Ability to love. Lead. Be creative & caring.

🤍🕊️my dog Jeter because he is always happiest when I walk in the door and cries until I enter it. He always knows when it’s been tough.

52 years of many things I am grateful for. Savior. Friendships. Babies. Family. Love. My dog.

For the many sweet birthday messages I have received I appreciate your love you return to me. For you I am grateful🤍
