Gastroenterology office is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our practice in Westerly, RI. To collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals as you provide accurate assessment, management of health problems, health counseling, diagnosis and treatment for our patients ranging from routine Colonoscopy screenings to chronic conditions.
Hours: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Office is closed on Fridays.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Colonoscopy screening evaluations.
Evaluate sick patients, transitional care patients.
Order and review proper testing to assess proper health management.
Educate patients on maintaining proper health.
Evaluate, make recommendations, co-manage and treat patients' medical needs.
Job Requirements:
Active RI Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant (in good standing)
Current National Board Certification
EMR-Caretracker/EPIC knowledge helpful.
Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care.
Must be able to present a friendly, welcoming and professional appearance.
