Down The Road Fitness -- Now in the Hamptons

Want to get in great shape for the summer? Now it's possible to train like an athlete and achieve all your fitness and nutrition goals here in the Hamptons with former D1 gymnast and professional trainer Lisa Oehler. Sought after for her hands-on approach and super-effective technique, Lisa's success as a personal fitness coach incorporates her vast knowledge of physical and nutritional wellness and years of experience training people to get into the best shape of their lives. Her technique is all about tailoring fitness, training and nutrition needs with your individual goals. in Physical and Health Education with a concentration in commercial fitness from Radford University, Lisa went on to become an aquatic therapist before she began her own practice. Since, she has helped hundreds of clients to create their own success stories. Motivational and inspirational, she is all about helping you to meet your achievable goals. Just in time for summer, Down The Road Fitness will hold Boot Camp sessions at Lashley Beach in Westhampton Beach every Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. Sessions are $10 a person. I love that my daughter Sami follows in my footsteps to live a healthy lifestyle along with eating nutritious meals. She made this great breakfast for us this morning. Eggs, avocado, tomatoes, spinach, fat free feta cheese, and pepper on a whole wheat wrap.

So.....I’m a morning person to a degree. Just not a get up at 5 am to workout kind of person!!!! My daughter Sami went to bed early and set that darn alarm to make it to one of my bestie Tricia’s spin class. Her music is the bomb and as you can see, they obviously pumped hard and got in a great sweat. (I’ll admit I’m a little jealous). You can take these amazing classes at our local neighborhood gym Beach Fitness Long Island

Ok so time for me to get my A # # in gear and burn those calories. Lots more yard work and steps for me again today.

I think I’m going to become a landscaper in my second life. I was at just over 13,000 steps after 2 1/2 hours of yard work. By days end of heading to work I added over another 5,000.

Be sure to get your steps in everyday. Your minimum goal should be 10,000.

Whoa!! I was looking at the calendar today. My step daughter is saying “I do” in 8 weeks and 2 days from now. Of course everyone wants to feel great and look extra special. Today I am starting my own personal 8 week challenge. Anyone who wants to join is more than welcome. I’ll be posting daily inspiration, workouts, and tips.
