💜✨ Crafts for a Cause! ✨💜

Our community came together for another special Alzheimer’s fundraiser leading up to our Walk in October. Residents enjoyed creating bracelets, hair clips, and hats, while sipping on refreshing purple smoothies and had delicious fruit. 🫐🍓💜

We also sold our Walk team shirts and cheered for more memories as we raised awareness and support for such a meaningful cause. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this event both creative and heartwarming! 💜👟

🌊🐬 We enjoyed a wonderful day on the water with a San Pedro boat tour that took us all the way to Long Beach! While the whales decided to stay hidden, we were treated to refreshing sea breezes, stunning views of the sky and ocean, and even some playful dolphins along the way. 🐬✨💙⚓️

🌱✨ Succulent Workshop Fun! ✨🌱
This weekend, our residents enjoyed a hands-on succulent workshop. Each person got to choose their favorite succulents, prepare the soil, decorate their pots, and give their new plants a first watering. 🌵💧

Along the way, they picked up helpful tips on how to care for their creations at home—because we can’t wait to see these succulents continue to grow and thrive! 💚

This month’s Alzheimer’s fundraiser was a success! A huge thank you to 1Heart Caregiver Services - Thousand Oaks for sponsoring our Mocktails for a Cause event. Residents and staff alike enjoyed relaxing with refreshing drinks while raising awareness and funds for the fight against Alzheimer’s.

Every donation made a difference — and thanks to your support, we raised over $400, bringing us to over $1,000 raised so far!

Together, we are one step closer to a world without Alzheimer’s. 💜
